Nader for Dictator! We all know there is no logical reason to vote for Bush because he is a complete idiot. But is the alternative that much better? As I watch this debate, I realize as one of my friends pointed at to me that Kerry is talking out his ass. No one really knows what they what they want to do. Bush has gotten us into a holy mess and no one can it. Even Kerry could get us on the way up, there is no way he can totaly fix it in four years. So now, I will give you my alternative option that everyone should truly consider:

Vote Nader (for Dictator!)
It's the only way to go. Dictatorship is the wave of the future, and is my main aspiration for life. We could even add some socialism and communism in there if you'd like. We'd set up a Utopian society in which we all live on communes. We'd become allies with the Chinese and Koreans and dominate the world. And wiht the reintroduction of dictatorship, there would be no reason we couldn't bring back the Hitler 'stash. We could even make it mandatory. So, what do you think? Its definently the best option. Think about it!

A Month Later: Sal's Triumphant Return Yes, I know it has been a very long while since I have updated, but things to write about have been scarce or all together not there. At the moment their our plenty of little tidbits of information floating around that will make a long blog when I write them down. So lets get down to business.

--Ongoing Attempt to Update This Blog--
-As you know, I am taking an HTML class at St. X this year. I am currently attempting to build a new layout for this blog on my own. Writing the code is easy enough, but deciding and correctly finding how to insert the automated tags that are in the blog is more than difficult. It is possible that in the coming weeks you will see a new layout unvieled, but it is just as likely that I will give up on it.

--Football Is in the Air--
-Everywhere I look these days I see something relating to football. The NFL is well underway, Trinty Week started today, and fantasy football is screwing me over once again. First we'll get to the most important news. The Jags are off to a "hot start" and are currently the divison leaders for the first time since 1999 with a record of 2-0. After losing 5 games in the final seconds last year, the Jags turned the tides wiht a final second TD pass that propelled them to a win over the Bills. Yesterday, the Jags found a way to win with little offense for the second straight game. All 13 points in the game came in the second quarter. The defense played amazing, but looked like they were gonna give the game away on the last drive. This was before Q. Griffin coughed the call up on the 23 when Mike Shannahan decided not to go for the field goal on third down. I caught the last two minutes on NFL Gamecast and went crazy went the page refreshed and I saw the glorious words: fumble, recovered by JAX. The Jaguars faced there first big challenge of the season when they sqaure off against the divison powerhouse Colts coming off a huge win in Tennessee.
Player of the Week: E. Wilford- two consecutive weeks with a game winning TD.
-September 24, 8:00 PM, Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium: Trinty Shamrocks (which of course is not a rock, but instead a plant) VS St. Xavier Tigers. The annual rivalry continues with its 49th edition this Friday and the games looks to be the best in recent years. Trinty somehow snuck into the natioanl rankings, but this is just one more reason we would love to win. The familiar decorations of green and gold adorn the hallways, shirts are selling fast, and the door decoratin contest is heating up. We are going to win, of course. The sex appeal was okay, but they said no to the pope. Beats me.
-On to fantasy news. After a first week tie off Smith's 60th yars as he broke his leg, I lost a low scoring affair to Jesus and His Followers. Currently I am sixth in the league with a record of 0-1-1. In my other league I jumped to first in the opening week and increased my lead this week. A record of 2-0 and 240 points is hard to beat.
--Reality Shows--
-Amazing Race is absolutely the best reality show on televison. 11 teams of 2, 72,000 miles, and 1 million dollars is the equation for an hour long show of excitement and tense moments. In the final episode last night, the Blackies (Chip and Kim) came through and beat Colin/Christy and Brandon/Nicole to the finsih line and the million dollar prize. Thoush I'm dissapointed the midget did not win, the Blackies are good enough. It was cool to see the sights from aorund the world, especially the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx which I saw with my own eyes this summer. My Tuesday nights used to be jammed full of shows I had to watch, now thye are desolate. It was a great season and I can't wait til the next one.
-Survivor showed up just in time to fill the void the Amazing Race has left. It can not fill it completly, but atleast something is there. The first show was okay but nothing spectacular. We'll jsut have to wait and see how it is going to turn out. Until then, leave your prediction for the winner in the comments.
Leave your Saint Xavier-Trinty game predictions too. Now!

Where is the Watch the Lamb, you ask? I don't really know. Maybe he will return fro Lent next year. For now, we have Sal the Silly Goose to keep us company. Put your hands to together for him and give him a warm welcome.
